Novak Djokovic has received a warning from Carlos Alcaraz that the seven-time Wimbledon champion can be defeated in the Sunday final.

In his effort to win a second major championship, world No. 1 Alcaraz defeated third-seed Daniil Medvedev in straight sets on Friday to go to his first Wimbledon final.

But he must overcome 23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, who easily defeated Jannik Sinner in the other semifinal match.

When the two faced off in the French Open semifinals last month, Djokovic prevailed over Alcaraz, but the young Spaniard, whose father has been seen on camera watching the Serbian train, believes he has what it takes to surprise the 36-year-old.

After defeating Medvedev, Alcaraz addressed Djokovic, saying, “Everyone knows the legend he is.”

It will be really difficult, but I will persevere. I’ll have confidence that I can defeat him in this situation.

He has been untouchable on this court (Centre Court) since 2013, so it will be an extremely difficult challenge for me, but I’m up for it.
