Multiple sources claim that Marcus Rashford and Manchester United have reached an agreement on a new long-term contract.

The club and the England forward have verbally agreed to terms for a new five-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford through 2028.

Prior to his current contracts expiring in 2024, the 25-year-old English forward has been in negotiations with United for a sizable amount of time.

Any ambiguity, though, will be eliminated once Rashford signs a new contract, which is currently being negotiated between the club and his agent Dwaine Maynard and extends until 2028.

Rashford turned rejected more lucrative offers from teams in England and Europe in order to remain at United, where he has always hoped to win prestigious awards.

This comes at the beginning of a week that should also see the Old Trafford team finalise the acquisition of Inter Milan custodian Andre Onana before departing on Wednesday for their summer tour of the United States.
