Andy Robertson believes both Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have slotted into the Liverpool squad ‘seamlessly’ in Germany.
In Baden-Württemberg, the Reds are presently participating in a preseason training camp under the supervision of Jürgen Klopp and his coaching team.
After returning to the AXA Training Centre for the first time early this month, preparations for the forthcoming campaign have been more serious recently.
Following their summer moves to Merseyside, both of the new midfield signings have started playing with their new teammates and adjusting to their new surroundings.
Robertson, a seasoned veteran of Liverpool’s preseason camps, has been impressed with the pair thus far, both on and off the pitch.
According to Robertson, they’ve adapted well, according to Liverpoolfc.com.
“Of course, the fans will want to see them play, as well as how they do in the Premier League, and other things. However, in the first couple of days, they adapted fairly well.
“The squad is really open. If you’re a rookie player, it’s a fantastic squad to join. We embrace everyone with open arms and work to make them as comfortable as we can. I believe we accomplished that.
“And then on the pitch, you can see their calibre; I don’t believe anyone has ever questioned it over the course of their career. We spent the money to get them for that reason.
“They’re demonstrating their worth, what they can do, and learning how to play the way we want them to, and I’m sure the fans can’t wait to watch them because we can’t wait to see how they perform in the Premier League.
“Based on what I’ve seen so far, I have no doubts they will succeed at this club,” the author said.
