Currently, Nottingham Forest is seen to be among the favourites to sign Pedro from Brazil this summer. This summer, the Reds are rumoured to be interested in a few attackers as they attempt to expand their options in attack.

The Reds and Al-Hilal are now competing for the signing of the talisman, according to Tutto Mercato Web. In January, clubs sought to sign him, but Flamengo refused since they valued him at £25 million.

Pedro has some prior playing experience in Europe. He moved from Fluminense to Fiorentina in 2019 but only played four times for the Serie A team before going back to Flamengo.

He might feel like he still has unfinished business in Europe in light of that unsuccessful stint. His Fiorentina tenure has alarmed Forest and Brentford, who have both started preliminary investigations.

Pedro is playing well during 2022/23. He’s found the net on 26 occasions from his position as a trademark number nine and has also laid on a further four assists.

Forest has a respectable Brazilian population. At the City Ground, Gustavo Scarpa, Felipe, and Danilo are already present, while more national players are being scouted.

Pedro may decide to move to the City Ground as a result of that factor. The athlete has also played six times for Brazil, and it is obvious that he will be vying for additional caps in the future.

It’s interesting to note that Pedro isn’t just being closely watched by Forest. According to the most recent source, Brentford and Tottenham are interested in the youngster but aren’t prioritising him this summer.

Pedro would be a good summer signing for Forest.

This signing would be interesting. Tim Vickery, a South American football specialist, stated in November that despite his lack of speed, he is a superb finisher and really comes alive in the penalty area (Sky Sports).

Pedro is now beating them in Brazil, but he might leave this summer. As a result, it’s possible that it’s not surprising that Forest is thinking of moving the player.

As a centre forward, Pedro is just entering the prime years at age 26. Although the £25 million price tag might seem a little risky, he does seem to know the path to the finish line.

In the upcoming weeks, Forest has to step up their transfer activity. Pedro would undoubtedly be an intriguing option for the team to take into consideration. Several new players will be needed.
