Arnaut Danjuma is close to sealing a move to Everton.

Everton and Villarreal have agreed to let Arnaut Danjuma join them on a temporary basis, according to Fabrizio Romano, who posted the news on his Twitter page.

The 26-year-old has made two previous appearances in the Premier League. He played for Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the second half of the previous season and showed promise briefly, but he struggled to get consistent playing time. The Dutchman had previously been signed by Bournemouth before going to Villarreal and excelling in La Liga.

According to Jack Rosser’s tweets on Twitter, the Spanish club had earlier been rumoured to be seeking £25 million for Danjuma.

Romano, who is known for his catchphrase “here we go soon,” has since confirmed that a loan agreement has been struck.
