Bukayo Saka says Arsenal’must learn’ from their 2-0 loss to Manchester United.

Jadon Sancho capitalized on Gabriel’s gaffe to put Manchester United ahead. To make it two, Bruno Fernandes’ strike slid past Aaron Ramsdale, who will feel he should have done better.

Arsenal couldn’t find a way back into the game as United cruised to victory and another clean sheet in pre-season. Erik ten Hag’s men have yet to concede after beating Leeds United, Lyon, and now the Gunners to nil.

“It’s obviously tough to take, whether it’s a friendly or not against United,” Saka remarked. “We’ll learn from it, and you can’t give up two goals like that against a team like this because it’s very difficult to come back.” All we have to do now is learn from it.

“Physically, we want to get back to where we were last season, then go to another level and keep increasing.” Tactically, we must incorporate everyone.

“We need to understand our game plan and how we play, and we need to keep progressing in each game so that when the first game comes around, we’re ready.”
