Wolves striker Raul Jimenez appears to be prepared for a medical at Fulham ahead of a £5.5 million deal.

Raul Jimenez of Wolves is’set to join’ Premier League rivals Fulham for £5.5 million plus add-ons.

According to various sources, the attacker will leave Wolves’ Portugal training camp on Monday for a medical at the west London club. He will leave the club after five seasons in which he made 166 appearances and scored 57 goals.

Despite making 20 appearances in all competitions, he only scored three goals last season, all of which came in the Carabao Cup. With a year left on his Wolves deal, he is set to join Fulham.

Jimenez joined Wolves on loan from Benfica in 2018, before becoming a regular fixture at Molineux the following year. In his first two seasons at the club, he scored 44 goals before sustaining a broken skull away at Arsenal in November 2020.

He has scored 13 goals in the last three seasons, while struggling to regain the form he had during his first two years with the club.

His departure will make him the club’s seventh senior player to depart this summer. As Julen Lopetegui rebuilds his squad for another Premier League season, the striker will join Rben Neves, Diego Costa, Joao Moutinho, Adam Traore, Conor Coady, and Nathan Collins in leaving.
