Feyenoord accept a £6 million approach from Rangers for striker Danilo; Michael Beale agrees a pre-contract with Los Angeles midfielder Jose Cifuentes; Rangers have made seven signings this summer.

Rangers have had a new bid of roughly £6 million accepted for Feyenoord striker Danilo.

The 24-year-old, who scored 12 goals last season, had been the subject of many offers from Rangers, who now appear likely to complete their eighth summer signing for a cost of £5.2 million before potential add-ons.

Personal terms are not thought to be an issue, as the Brazilian is keen on moving to Ibrox.

The Rangers are reportedly close to completing a summer transfer for another long-term goal, Los Angeles midfielder Jose Cifuentes.

“We’re getting closer. “There are logistics and work permits and everything else that goes into that one,” he said of an agreement to sign the Ecuador international.

“The clubs are still conversing. We have an agreement in place for when he will be out of contract at the end of the year.

“We’d like to wrap it up quickly so he can join us in this window.”

“Those discussions are still ongoing.”

During this transfer window, Rangers have already signed Kieran Dowell, Cyriel Dessers, Jack Butland, Sam Lammers, Leon Balogun, Dujon Sterling, and Abdallah Sima.
