Tottenham Hotspur are apparently interested in signing 20-year-old Montpellier attacker Elye Wahi, who is also a Chelsea target.
According to Midi Libre, Tottenham are currently preparing an offer for Elye Wahi, who is also wanted by Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Wahi had an outstanding 2022/23 season with Montpellier, scoring 19 goals in all competitions. He might be a good long-term investment for Tottenham. It remains to be seen whether the North London club would be able to reach an agreement with Montpellier.
Tottenham need to add attacking reinforcements, and Wahi would be a good alternative. Tottenham must find a suitable replacement for Harry Kane, who has been linked with a transfer away from the club this summer. Although the 20-year-old striker is not yet ready to take over for the Englishman, he may surely share the goal-scoring burden at Tottenham next season.
