Australia captain Sam Kerr has stated she will be healthy for the co-hosts’ crucial match against Canada on Monday.

The Matildas have one win and one loss, and they must defeat Canada on Monday to advance to the last-16.

Kerr has now given Australia a huge boost by saying she will play against the Olympic winners.

“I’m feeling good,” Kerr remarked. “I was on the field today.”

“It’s going to come down to the wire, but I’ll definitely be available.” The plan has always been to miss the first two games and then reevaluate.

“I’ve done everything under the sun to get in shape to be chosen.” I’ve sacrificed everything in the last 10 days and four years to be here.”
