Liverpool are in talks with PSG about a spectacular loan deal for Kylian Mbappe.
PSG are furious that Mbappe declined to speak with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia after the French champions accepted their world record-breaking £259 million deal. They are also concerned that Mbappe may leave for free in a year to join Real Madrid. Liverpool in sensational Kylian Mbappe transfer talks after PSG star’s Saudi snub.
Liverpool are ready to offer Mbappe a one-year loan contract, which will get him out of Paris, generate revenue for PSG, and allow the 24-year-old forward to complete his dream move to Real Madrid. The Reds have been buoyed by Mbappe’s admiration for the club, as well as the fact that his mother, Fayza Lamari, who is also his agent, is a die-hard Kop supporter.
Mbappe has frequently admired Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, and he and his representatives held transfer talks with Liverpool before deciding to join PSG when he opted to leave Monaco.
“We talked a little bit, but not too much,” he said last year to the Telegraph. “We had a brief conversation. “I talked to Liverpool because it’s my mother’s favourite club, and my mother adores Liverpool.”I’m not sure why; you’ll have to ask her! It’s a good club, and we’ve known them for five years. I ran into them in Monaco. It’s a large club.”
Things heated up after Mbappe referred to PSG as a “divisive club” in an interview with France Football magazine. When asked if he believed his performances for PSG had been minimized, Mbappe replied, “Yes, but I don’t blame them.”
“They saw me grow up in France, they see me all the time, at PSG every weekend or in selection.” For years, I’ve been getting a lot of points. As a result, it is becoming typical for people. I’ve never complained about my performances being minimized.
“I’m young, and I’ve had the opportunity.” It wasn’t long ago that I was an observer before becoming an actor. I, for one, trivialized Messi’s, Cristiano Ronaldo’s, and other great players’ performances.
“We live in a consumer society in which ‘it’s good, but do it again.'” I don’t think playing for Paris Saint-Germain helps much because it’s a divided squad and a divisive franchise. Naturally, it generates chatter, but it doesn’t concern me since I know what I’m doing and how I’m doing it.”
