Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Jesper Lindstrom, who has resurfaced as a Reds target.
A self-proclaimed Liverpool supporter, Frankfurt are open to selling Lindstrom this summer, with the Bundesliga side hopeful that a bidding war could lead the 23-year-old winger leaving for as much as €55m (£47m).

Lindstrom ticks a lot of boxes for what Jurgen Klopp is looking for in a playmaker, even if the teenager is better suited to playing out on the flanks than centrally.
However, considering Lindstrom’s versatility, there may be opportunity for him to play a bigger part for Liverpool, a transition that new addition Dominik Szoboszlai is already going through.
While there is a lot of interest in Lindstrom, there’s a considerable probability that Liverpool will win the race for him, especially since the player is a Liverpool supporter.

Lindstrom’s ability to play multiple roles while still being a creative force will make him a popular figure at Anfield, and acting quickly to negotiate a deal with Frankfurt might be huge.
With other teams keen, Liverpool is in a race against time to sign Lindstrom, and the Danish international may contribute a lot to Klopp’s side that has been lost this summer.
