According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s report on Thursday evening, Bournemouth have agreed to sign midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli from Fiorentina.

Bournemouth and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for Castrovilli.

The 26-year-old is scheduled to go to England on Friday to finalize the contract and complete his medical.

According to Di Marzio, Bournemouth will pay Fiorentina a cost of €12 million with bonuses.

 

Castrovilli joined Fiorentina from Bari in 2017, before being loaned out to Cremonese in Serie B for two years, where he scored five goals in 55 games across all competitions.

 

Castrovilli has made 105 appearances in the top division since rejoining La Viola for the start of the 2019-20 season, as well as 13 in the Coppa Italia and seven in the most recent Conference League.

In November 2019, he was also given his first Italy cap by CT Roberto Mancini during a Euro 2020 qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has since earned three more Azzurri caps.

Bournemouth and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for Castrovilli.
