Following Arsenal’s interest in January, Chelsea made a series of approaches for the midfielder.

So far, no club has surpassed Brighton’s valuation, and they do not anticipate that to change this summer. Brighton do not expect to sell midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.

 

Brighton are emphatic that they do not want to transfer Ecuador international Caicedo, 21, and see no reason to do so now that Alexis MacAllister has joined Liverpool.

 

Caicedo has been informed of this viewpoint, and Brighton does not believe it will be a problem.

 

In January, the player requested to leave the Seagulls due to interest from Arsenal.

Brighton declined, and Caicedo signed a new contract in March that goes through 2027.

Chelsea has had offers of £70 million and £80 million rejected this summer.

 

After finishing sixth in the Premier League previous season, Brighton qualified for the Europa League.
