The England captain scored four goals as Spurs began their pre-season campaign with a bang.

But, as always, Kane was unfazed and produced in front of goal. His performance was a masterclass in finishing, and it demonstrated exactly what Tottenham will miss if he does leave.
Kane is still a Tottenham player for the time being, and he took to X (Twitter) after the game to offer his first thoughts on the triumph over Shakhtar.

Kane did a long lap of appreciation at the end, which only seemed to fuel speculation that he might end up being on his way.
Of course, Kane is always terrific with the home fans, and this could just be a nice gesture to their support.
Tottenham fans will be hoping for good news on Kane in the coming weeks.

If there was ever a game to demonstrate why Tottenham cannot afford to lose Harry Kane, this was it.
His finishing and overall performance were superb, and he continues to demonstrate why he is one of the top forwards in the world.
If Kane does depart, he will leave a significant vacuum in this Spurs squad. It will be nearly impossible to replace him.
Tottenham must prioritize keeping Kane. As bizarre as that may sound, it’s simply not worth the £100 million they might get.
