Chelsea are looking to push harder for the services of the 24-year-old Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea wants Tyler Adams to join them before the end of the current transfer window. They are looking to strengthen their midfield and have identified the 24-year-old as a possible target.

The Blues are stepping up their efforts to sign the American international who is wanted by Aston Villa. Chelsea’s priority during the current transfer window has been to sell players, but they have now changed their focus to new signings.
The London club has considerably reduced the number of their team, but they have lost some talent in the process. They have let go of Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, and Mateo Kovacic, three of their greatest midfielders. Chelsea will now need to sign new midfielders as a result of their departure.
The Blues’ top aim this summer has been to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton. They have been in talks with the Seagulls for several weeks but have failed to strike an agreement. Brighton has rejected as many as four bids. Chelsea, on the other hand, is still vying for his signatures and is prepared to make a new offer.

Last season, Leeds were demoted from the Premier League. They struggled during the season and were demoted to the Championship despite their efforts. As a result, they will all lose some of their finest players.
Adams surely did his bit but couldn’t help Leeds survive in the English top flight. He got injured in the final phase of the season and that didn’t help the cause of his club. But, his performances have attracted a lot of attention and with a relation clause in his deal, a move elsewhere is very much possible. The Blues want to land him at the club and they are ready to intensify their efforts this week.
