Liverpool‘s transfer window has been full of twists and turns as Chelsea and the Reds play games with Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia in the heart of it all.

It was then stated that Liverpool outbid Chelsea for Moises Caicedo, while This Is Anfield understands communication with Brighton has been made but no official offer has been presented (as of the time of writing).
Both teams appear to be posturing to obtain what they want; Liverpool reporters claimed contact but no bid, while those on the Chelsea beat said an offer was made.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that a “formal bid” from Liverpool for the Brighton midfielder is coming in the “following hours.”
The Seagulls are ready to sell the 21-year-old to the “highest bidder” within the next 24 hours and are asking up to £100 million for him.
The majority expects Lavia to join Liverpool and Caicedo to join Chelsea, but only time will tell how this all plays out – hopefully, the Reds surprise us all!
