Harry Kane has agreed to join Bayern Munich, and personal conditions of a prospective four-year contract have been agreed upon.

The 30-year-old England captain is currently awaiting permission from Tottenham Hotspur to travel for a medical and finalize the transfer.

The Athletic reported on Thursday that Tottenham have accepted a deal from Bayern worth more than €100 million (£86.4 million, $110 million).

Kane wanted the matter solved before Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday.

He is said to have enjoying life under new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou and was considering staying, but has now decided to quit his childhood club.

Tottenham sought to re-sign the striker, who was in the final year of his deal.

Despite Ornstein’s story this morning, the contract between the clubs is not finalized. Kane was either having second thoughts about the transaction, or he was simply indulging in some personal bargaining before consenting to the move. This would imply that whatever discussions are taking place (Charlie getting paid?) are nearing completion.

The transfer is expected to be finalized by Saturday.

I’ve spoken everything I want to say about Kane at this point. Today’s news was insane, sad, exciting, and strange, and I’m just… well, I’m just DONE with it all. At the very least, it appears like we will soon have an end to this entire drama, and I will not be sad that it is finished, even if I am unhappy that it has all come to this.
