Jurrien Timber has suffer ACL as consultant specialist comfirm
This summer, the Gunners have been preparing for what could be their most significant Premier League season in decades.
After coming so close to winning the Premier League title last season, Mikel Arteta’s team will be hoping to go one step further in the 2023-24 season.
During the summer transfer window, the north London club recruited Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Jurrien Timber to their ranks.
Jurrien Timber, an Arsenal defender, will be out for a lengthy time after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during his Premier League debut.
When announcing the type of his injury on Wednesday, Arsenal did not provide a timetable for his absence.

Timber, who arrived from Ajax in the offseason, was injured in the first half of Saturday’s Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.
“Jurrien will undergo surgery in the coming days and will be out of action for an extended period of time,” the club announced. “The support and expertise from our medical team and everyone at the club will now be focused on Jurrien’s rehabilitation program, to ensure he recovers well and is back playing as soon as possible.”
ACL injury can keep a player out for up to a year.
Timber revealed on X, the network formerly known as Twitter, that his injury “is more serious than expected.”
“I wanted to repay you on the pitch, which will not be possible for the forthcoming period,” he wrote.
