Tottenham’s James Maddison shone on his home debut against Manchester United in the Premier League. Following his two assists against Brentford, the England international was once again at the heart of everything positive Spurs did, with fellow midfield generals Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr.

The trio effectively neutralized Manchester United’s offence while also contributing considerably in attack, with Sarr scoring the opening goal. Spurs increased their lead with an own goal from Lisandro Martinez.

Fears over an injury to Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison have been played down after he was seen leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on crutches.

However, Maddison was seen exiting the stadium on crutches, which immediately aroused concerns about a potentially serious injury.

According to football.london. , Maddison told the journalists who observed him that it was merely a precaution.
