Hakim Ziyech joins Galatasaray on loan from Chelsea.
Hakim Ziyech has successfully secured his long-awaited release from Chelsea on his third attempt. A January deal to PSG fell through due to administrative errors, while an earlier summer move to Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League fell through due to a failed physical.
All of the faxes have been issued and received, all of the medical checks have been finished, and the 30-year-old has completed his loan transfer to Galatasaray on a season-long loan with the option to sign him for free at the end of the agreement. He joins Mauro Icardi and Wilfried Zaha in the club’s summer recruiting class.

Galatasaray, the Turkish Super League winners, have recruited Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech on loan from Chelsea, with the option of buying him later, the club announced on Saturday.
If Ziyech joins Galatasaray on a permanent basis, the club will pay him 3.6 million euros for the 2023-2024 season and 2.9 million euros for the 2024-2025 season. Hakim Ziyech joins Galatasaray on loan from Chelsea.
Galatasaray won their 23rd league title, their first since the 2018-19 season, in May.
Mauro Icardi has also joined Galatasaray from PSG, as has Wilfried Zaha when his contract with Crystal Palace expired.
