Mitrovic has joined Saudi club Al-Hilal from Fulham.

The Club can report that Aleksandar Mitrovi has left this evening for a Club record transfer fee to join Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

The Club had grudgingly accepted a revised offer because the player had repeatedly expressed his desire to depart.

Mitrovi joined Fulham on loan in January 2018 before signing permanently the following summer. He led the Whites win the Championship Play-Off Final in his first season, winning promotion to the Premier League, the first of three promotions to the top flight.

Aleksandar Mitrovic, a Serbian forward, has joined Saudi club Al-Hilal from Premier League Fulham, the two clubs confirmed on Saturday.

The four-time Asian champions stated that Mitrovic’s deal will last through 2026 but provided no financial specifics. According to British media, the Saudis paid more than £46 million ($58.6 million) for the forward.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo went to Al-Nassr in January, the Saudi Pro League has signed a slew of European-based players.

Mitrovic has been Fulham’s top scorer in four of the last five seasons, scoring 14 Premier League goals in the 2022-23 season to help the club finish 10th.

The move brings to an end prolonged talks between the two clubs over the 28-year-old striker’s services after the London club reportedly rejected an early bid for him.

Al-Hilal is the most decorated club in Saudi Arabia and Asia, having won 66 trophies in total, including 18 league and four Asian Champions League crowns.
