Man City reach a £60 million deal with Rennes to recruit Jeremy Doku.
Jeremy Doku is on the way to Manchester City in a £55.5m deal; the Rennes winger and Belgium international is set to become Man City’s third summer signing of the window
The Belgium international has been linked with a number of Premier League teams this summer and is now set to join the champions.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, a notable transfer specialist and CaughtOffside pundit, who has given the Belgian winger the famous ‘here we go’ treatment.

Doku, 21, has verbally agreed to a move worth £51 million and is set to become Riyad Mahrez’s long-term replacement after the world-class Algerian chose to join Al-Ahli earlier in the transfer season.
Although Rennes are likely to collect a club-record amount for Doku, whose probable sale will exceed Nayef Aguerd’s £30 million move to West Ham last year, Manchester City fans will be pleased with their team’s transaction.
While many players go to teams both at home and abroad for exorbitant fees, Manchester City is about to finalize another inexpensive deal that has largely gone unnoticed. Man City reach a £60 million deal with Rennes to recruit Jeremy Doku.
Doku’s approaching presence at the Etihad Stadium will demonstrate why the treble-winners are one of the best teams in the world, both on and beyond the field.
Man City are looking for a winger to replace Riyad Mahrez, who departed the club after winning the treble last season.
If Doku completes his move to the Etihad Stadium, he would become Pep Guardiola’s third summer signing this season, following Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol.
Doku scored for Rennes in their first Ligue 1 game against Metz, adding to his six league goals last season.
It appears that Manchester City are on the verge of signing Jérémy Doku from Stade Rennais in Ligue 1.
