The attacker, who scored two goals in ten senior games with his first club, had a breakout season last season, particularly during the Champagne side’s long-running undefeated streak under Anglo-Belgian manager Will Still.

According to Get French Football News, Monaco’s original bid was rejected down by Arsenal, who were claimed to be asking for €50 million. Inter, West Ham, and Lens were reportedly also interested in signing Balogun.

The Gunners attacker is expected to soon be put through his medical paces and then sign a five-year contract with Monaco.

Balogun will look to continue his superb form in Ligue 1 with Monaco and further kick on with his development at the Stade Louis II.
