Man United’s Luke Shaw is going to be out for some weeks due to a muscular problem

Manchester United‘s left back Luke Shaw has a muscle issue that will keep him out for several weeks.

The injury was confirmed in a club statement on Thursday night, which stated Shaw was’still being examined.’

He has started both of United’s Premier League games this season and was one of Erik ten Hag’s most consistent starts in his first season as manager.

Tyrell Malacia is the most likely substitute for the 28-year-old in Saturday’s home match against Nottingham Forest.

In his press conference on Friday, Ten Hag is scheduled to provide an update on team news.

Mason Mount, who suffered a hamstring injury in last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham, has also been out for up to six weeks due to the same issue. Man United’s Luke Shaw is going to be out for some weeks due to a muscular problem

The outcome followed another lacklustre effort by the Red Devils, who were fortunate to win their opening game of the season against Wolves but were defeated in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley this week.

Fans will be hoping for a rapid improvement in performances after seeing their slide stumble to 12th in the table after two games.
