The Reds conceded twice in the first minutes, but Casemiro’s equalizer has put them in position to win the game.
After 17 minutes, Christian Eriksen scored United’s first goal with a superb tap-in to make it 2-1. Erik ten Hag’s team spent the rest of the half trying to score but had to wait until the second half to do so.
United equalized following a clever set-piece routine in which Casemiro timed his run perfectly to connect with Bruno Fernandes’ head.
