On Sunday, a group of football enthusiasts at Notting Hill Carnival were surprised to see Arsenal player Jorginho in the crowd.

Arsenal surrendered points for the first time this season on Saturday, drawing 2-2 with Fulham at the Emirates.

After falling behind in the second minute, the Gunners responded brilliantly, scoring twice after halftime. The Cottagers were then reduced to 10 men, but managed to nick a point late on from a set-piece.

Jorginho, who came on in the second half, tried to recover from the disappointment of the outcome by attending Carnival the next day.

The Italian tried to blend in by wearing a baseball cap and his hood up.

However, some eagle-eyed supporters spotted him and took to social media to share a video alongside him.

‘Instead of Jorginho chilling at home, he’s at Carni,’ the fan captioned the video.

The carnival has returned for its 55th year, and since its inception in the 1950s, it has grown to become the world’s second largest of its kind.

Over the course of two days, millions of people assemble in west London to take up the party atmosphere and celebrate Caribbean culture.

Jorginho has only played a small role from the bench for Arsenal so far this season

Jorginho has played just 17 minutes of football in the new season with two substitute appearances in Arsenal’s three matches.

The Gunners sit fifth with seven points from those three games.
