Patson Daka, a striker for Leicester City, has agreed to join Bournemouth after declining a move to Burnley, according to sources speaking to Football Insider.

Daka is putting the finishing touches on a move to the Vitality Stadium. Daka was also a target for AC Milan on deadline day.

Daka is expected to join Tyler Adams, Justin Kluivert, and Alex Scott as Bournemouth’s eighth summer additions.

All three of the Cherries’ Premier League games have been started by Dominic Solanke, but newly appointed manager Andoni Iraola wants to give his team more firepower.

The Zambian international has not been named to any of Leicester’s matchday squads since he was not used as a substitute in the Foxes’ opening Championship match against Coventry City.

In 36 appearances across all competitions for Leicester last season, he recorded four goals and four assists.

However, Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy were chosen as starters, and he was frequently utilized as an impact substitute.

BournemouthSince joining the team in a £23million transfer from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021, Daka has been unable to secure a consistent starting position at the King Power Stadium.

In 74 appearances for Leicester, he has scored 15 goals, and he is about to leave the club.
