Manchester United have signed Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on a season-long loan from Fiorentina.
United will pay a loan fee of £8.6 million (10 million euros), with the option to make the deal permanent for £17.1 million (20 million euros) plus £4.2 million (5 million euros) in add-ons.
United had previously signed fullback Sergio Reguilon, , centre back Jonny Evans, and keeper Altay Bayindir.
Amrabat, 27, described himself as “representing the club of my dreams.”
He played with La Viola for three seasons, appearing in 92 league games and scoring once.
Morocco’s midfielder has 49 international caps and helped his side finish fourth at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Fiorentina left Amrabat out of their team for both legs of their Europa Conference League play-off against Rapid Vienna, which they won 2-1 on aggregate on Thursday.
