Arsenal stuns Manchester United with two late-game goals.

Declan Rice scored his first Arsenal goal deep into injury time, and Gabriel Jesus added another after the 100th minute to secure Arsenal a 3-1 Premier League victory over Manchester United on Sunday.

When the ball dropped to Rice – Arsenal’s record acquisition – after a corner, the midfielder downed it on his chest before firing a right-footed shot that beat Andre Onana inside the near post in the sixth minute of stoppage time, the game looked heading for a 1-1 draw.

After a swift counterattack in the 89th minute, United substitute Alejandro Garnacho thought he had scored a late winner, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR check for offside.

With United attempting a last-ditch equalizer, Arsenal counterattack in the 11th minute of stoppage time, and Jesus calmly tucked the ball past Onana to seal the victory.

In the first half, the sides traded early goals. Marcus Rashford scored against the flow of play in the 27th minute, and Martin Odegaard equalized immediately after the break.

In other news, Dominik Szoboszlai scored his first goal for Liverpool, and Mohamed Salah scored his seventh goal in seven games against Aston Villa in a 3-0 win at Anfield.

Salah, who is allegedly a transfer target for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, scored goal number 188 of his Liverpool career in the 55th minute with a toe poke at the back post.

After three minutes, Szoboszlai gave Liverpool the lead with a left-footed half-volley from the edge of the 18-yard box. Darwin Nunez’s firm effort hit the post and bounced into the net off Villa defender Matty Cash, giving Liverpool a 2-0 lead.

At Selhurst Park, French forward Odsonne Edouard struck twice in an action-packed second half to power Crystal Palace to a 3-2 home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Following a boring first 45 minutes, Palace struck in the 56th minute when Tyrick Mitchell ran down the left and sent a perfectly weighted pass across the face of goal for Edouard to tap home.

Wolves equalized with a well-directed header from replacement Hwang Hee-chan, but Palace struck again in the 78th minute when Eberechi Eze showed excellent individual talent, controlling a Jean-Philippe Mateta pass with a backheel flip before sending a shot past Jose Sa.

The hosts put the contest beyond doubt when Edouard played a one-two with Mateta to breeze through Wolves’ tired defence and tuck away a cool finish before Matheus Cunha scored a consolation goal for the visitors six minutes into added time.
