As the big game against Manchester United approaches, Arsenal supporters will be looking for a dominant performance.

Man United’s away record has been nothing short of shocking, with the Red Devils winning only three of their past eleven away games, and they haven’t won at The Emirates in a league game since 2017.

Areta will be depending heavily on new acquisitions Declan Rice and Kai Havertz to step up and succeed with Thomas Partey thought to be ailing. Casemiro and Rice in the centre of the midfield should be an exciting encounter to witness.

United are known for their counter-attacking game, and despite their own injury issues, our two centre backs Gabriel and Saliba will be crucial if we are to win and keep the all-important clean sheet.

Gabriel Jesus has allegedly returned to training with the team. Although Eddie Nketiah has made an immediate impact, I believe Arteta will stay with the experience of Gabriel Jesus in the centre and Saka and Martinelli on the flanks. Which Arsenal players must step up against Manchester United?

With two victories and a draw thus far, this is a must-win game for our season. We can’t afford to slip behind City in the title chase.
