A journalist believes Kane will not return to Spurs owing to concerns behind the scenes.

Harry Kane may return to the Premier League at some point, but he may not want to play for Tottenham Hotspur. According to journalist Sami Mokbel, there is clearly some animosity between the former Tottenham Hotspur player and the club he departed this summer.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane left Tottenham Hotspur in August of this year after progressing through the club’s academy and became the club’s all-time leading goalscorer (GOAL).

A journalist believes Kane will not return to Spurs owing to concerns behind the scenes.

After a summer of heated speculation, Kane left Spurs to join German giants Bayern Munich. Tottenham might earn up to £104 million from the sale of Kane, depending on his progress in the Bundesliga (EuroSport).

Spurs don’t appear to be missing Kane all that much just yet. The Lilywhites have started the Premier League season unblemished under new manager Ange Postecoglou, with goals coming from all over the pitch.

Harry Kane might never return to Tottenham

Of course, when Kane left, he gave up his bid to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record. According to Sami Mokbel, Kane will most likely return to England one day to beat that record, but he may not do so with Spurs.

“I think one day he will come back to England and break that Premier League record,” Mokbel stated on The Mail’s deadline day broadcast. That is exactly what he desires.

“Whether it’s at Tottenham or elsewhere.” I’m not sure, there have been a few complications behind the scenes with his move, but we’ll see him back here one day.”

This follows allegations that Kane was prevented from returning to the Hotspur Way complex before completing his departure to Germany last month (Telegraph).

It would be quite distressing to see Kane return to England without wearing a Spurs jersey. There is little doubt that he will return to break the Premier League record, and we must ensure that any concerns between the club and Kane are rectified and that he finishes his career with us.
