Kai Havertz must try harder!
Kai Havertz has left Arsenal fans wondering how he will be managed going forward after a fantastic weekend win against Manchester United. Havertz is failed to hit the ground running, owing to a lack of confidence and possibly new club anxieties.
All players should be given time when they join a new club, but we Arsenal fans were hopeful that Havertz would fit straight in with Arteta’s system (especially given his high price tag), but that does not appear to be the case so far.
We thought that after a few hard years at Chelsea, the player would come to Arsenal and show us the same Kai Havertz who helped Arsenal win the Champions League.
In true Arteta fashion, he stated this during his post-match press conference following United’s victory. “I told him yesterday that things are difficult at first. When I first met my wife, it was difficult to win her over, and I had to keep texting her.

“In the end, she said yes, she wanted to be with me, and it was lovely.” It’s not wonderful if it’s a yes on the first day. “I think the crowd was really nice to him today,” according to Arsenal.com.
I believe this is a casual way for Arteta to shield Havertz, who has stated repeatedly when asked about him that he needs time to settle in and comprehend the system and style of play that Arteta is attempting to adopt. Arteta, in my opinion, should start him on the bench, re-establish his confidence, and ease him back into the system.
