Despite a quiet start to the season, Leandro Trossard’s team believes the Arsenal man will get his chance to perform in the coming months.

Arsenal’s January signing Leandro Trossard had a fantastic pre-season campaign with the Gunners, scoring against the MLS All-Stars, scoring a brace against Barcelona, and scoring in both normal time and the Community Shield shootout.

However, this has yet to transfer into Premier League minutes.

Trossard has made one league start in the first four games, against Fulham at home, and was replaced at halftime. In total, the Belgian international has played 62 minutes.

Leandro Trossard #19 of Arsenal celebrates his goal with Bukayo Saka #7 in front of Iñaki Peña (13) of FC Barcelona on July 26, 2023 in Inglewood, California.

According to Trossard’s entourage, who spoke to Belgian publication Het Belang van Limburg about the matter, the player is not panicked.

“The next few months will be super busy, with three matches a week, in the league, the FA Cup, and the Champions League, he will get his chances,” a Trossard camp representative said (via Sport Witness).

You’d think that would be the case. Mikel Arteta will need to use his entire team to prevent overworking anyone in the next months, with Arsenal competing in the league, the League Cup, and the Champions League.

If the Gunners are still in all three competitions come January, then the FA Cup will be added into the mix to make things even more congested.

Leandro Trossard of Arsenal scores between Eric García, Sergi Roberto, and Jules Koundé for a 3-2 lead during a pre-season friendly between Arsenal and FC Barcelona at SoFi Stadium on July 26, 2023.

With Trossard performing so well when given the chance, with the exception of that Fulham game, he should be capable of making an impact over the next few months. He’ll hope he can give Arteta a decision to make.
