Kai Havertz just sent a message to Arsenal fans on instagram

Kai Havertz has told Arsenal fans on Instagram that it’s a ‘big month’ ahead for Mikel Arteta’s side after he helped managerless Germany beat France 2-1 in an international friendly on Tuesday.

Germany has fired Hansi Flick ahead of Euro 2024 after going five games without a win, with Kai Havertz acknowledging that it has been a ‘tough week’ for his country.

The 24-year-old came off the bench against France yesterday, assisting Leroy Sane on what proved to be the game-winning goal with three minutes remaining.

Havertz’s life at Arsenal has been difficult since his big-money move this summer, with fans and the media heaping criticism on him.

Even before he could kick a ball at the Emirates, there were wild predictions that he would be a flop.

Given that the versatile player hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire at Arsenal, the detractors are becoming increasingly vocal, with Havertz posting the following remark on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Good end to a difficult week for the team,” said Havertz. “Back to London for a big month ahead with @arsenal!”

Can Havertz find his magic touch?

Arsenal will play in the Champions League again this month, and it will be interesting to observe how Arteta’s men fare in the competition, as well as how they balance it with Premier League games.

Of course, Havertz has a Champions League winner’s medal, so could that tournament kickstart his career in north London?

There’s no doubt that Arsenal fans will continue to be patient with him, but sooner or later, he needs to start demonstrating something or else the pressure will be on him.
