Inter leads Serie A with 12 points after four games. Milan is in third place with nine points.

Juventus, who are second with 10 points, maintained their unbeaten streak with a 3-1 win over Lazio earlier on Saturday.

Inter won their fifth straight derby in all competitions thanks to a Henrikh Mkhitaryan brace, Marcus Thuram‘s rocket, and two late goals from Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Frattesi, who were backed up by the majority of a noisy San Siro crowd.

Simone Inzaghi’s side claimed the points with a display which showed why they got past Milan to reach last season’s Champions League final and confirmed their status as early title favourites.
