Elanga was one of many new arrivals at the City Ground during the transfer window, and the Sweden international has already made eight Premier League appearances, scoring once and assisting once. His first goal came in a thrilling 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in early September.

After settling in the Midlands, Elanga likened his new club to his old, saying Fotballskanalen: “Forest are still a great team historically.” They have two Champions League titles. So you might say I’ve moved from one large team to another. The change isn’t that significant.”
