Trailblazing female boxer Natasha Jonas continues to write history as she becomes the first black woman to obtain a manager’s licence from the British Boxing Board of Control.

Last year, she became the first woman to be named British Boxer of the Year by the British Boxing Board of Control, following in the footsteps of Lennox Lewis, Naseem Hamed, and other British boxing superstars.

The two-weight world champion continues her trailblazing legacy by earning a manager’s license in order to begin managing the career of her young apprentice Mikie Tallon, who makes his professional debut later this month.

“I’ve always believed in myself and never allowed myself to give up.” I didn’t go out to be the first to do anything. “I just knew I wanted to break down barriers and not be afraid to do anything because it hadn’t been done before,” Jonas explained.

“That being said, one thing I do like about being first is that it makes you part of history and nobody can take that away from you.”

Natasha is extremely involved in the community, fulfills parenting duties, and serves as a pundit and analyst for Sky Sports Boxing in addition to her great career in the ring. Natasha Jonas, a female celebrity, has obtained a license to manage boxers.

Jonas’ most recent remarkable achievement is especially poignant because it falls during Black History Month and this year’s theme of ‘Celebrating Our Sisters.’ Jonas’ career, marked by tenacity and achievement, exemplifies her tenacious spirit and the power of women in athletics.

Jonas is looking forward to going back in the ring and establishing herself as one of the major personalities in British boxing after defeating Kandi Wyatt earlier this year to gain the IBF World Welterweight title and becoming a two-weight world champion.

Natasha Jonas is the focus of the latest episode of Sky Sports series Editions – released today on the Sky Sports YouTube channel.
