Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men’s tennis, defeated Pole Hubert Hurkacz 7-6 (7-1), 4-6, 6-1 on Thursday in an ATP Finals Green group third round match in Turin, but now needs Jannik Sinner to beat Dane Holger Rune to advance to the semi-finals.
Djokovic won in two hours and six minutes and is now 7-0 versus Hurkacz, who is filling up for injured Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
