On Tuesday, star English midfielder Jude Bellingham made history by being the first Real Madrid player to receive the ‘Golden Boy Award’ in Turin. The ‘Golden Boy Award’ is given to the best player under the age of 21 who is currently playing for a European team. The 20-year-old was chosen from a field of 25 finalists, which included his Los Blancos colleague Arda Guler. Following his victory, Bellingham stated that he had high objectives in life, including winning as many trophies as possible. He noted that both Real Madrid and the England National Team are under a lot of strain, but he is honoured to represent both. The trophy was also dedicated to his country and the Spanish club by the star midfielder.

Bellingham had previously won the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or gala, recognizing him as the finest under-21 footballer.

The 20-year-old has had a fantastic start to his first season with Real Madrid, scoring 15 goals thus far.

The Englishman scored his final goal for Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) against Napoli, which Real Madrid won 4-2.
