The ‘Golden Boy Award’ is given to the best player under the age of 21 who is currently playing for a European team. The 20-year-old was chosen from a field of 25 finalists, which included his Los Blancos colleague Arda Guler. Following his victory, Bellingham stated that he had high objectives in life, including winning as many trophies as possible.
