Rio Ferdinand and Peter Crouch agreed that Jordan Ayew should not have been shown a second yellow card in Liverpool’s thrilling late victory over Crystal Palace.
The tie shifted in Jurgen Klopp’s direction after the Ghanaian’s controversial 75th-minute dismissal, with the Reds claiming victory thanks to late goals from Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliot.

Crouch, a former Liverpool striker, acknowledged he didn’t see the turnaround coming and disagreed with the decision.
‘You didn’t see that coming, especially after the first half performance.’ He stated this on TNT Sports. ‘Palace definitely grew into the game by scoring, but they dropped further and deeper.
