Smith Rowe’s Recent Form At The Emirates Stadium

The 23-year-old has battled to establish himself as a regular starter at the North London club, frequently falling behind Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz in Mikel Arteta’s pecking order.

Smith Rowe has appeared in 12 matches for the Gunners this season, registering one assist in the process. The majority of his Premier League games have come off the bench, which explains why he only averages 0.8 shots, 0.2 crucial passes, and 0.3 dribbles per game. Smith Rowe has been efficient with his ball distribution, completing 84.5% of his attempted passes in England’s top flight.

Smith Rowe’s current contract with the London club expires in the summer of 2026. As a result, if the Villans are serious in signing the English phenomenon this winter, they will have to make a strong offer.

Is Smith Rowe A Good Choice For Aston Villa Head Coach Unai Emery?

Smith Rowe has the ability to shoot the ball with strength and precision from long distance and has the vision to create up some good looks for his teammates up top. He is also a good ball dribbler, but he needs to find a method to gain more first-team starts in the coming seasons.

The Englishman is primarily an offensive midfielder, but he can also play as a box-to-box midfielder or a left-sided wide player if needed. He would certainly improve Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery’s defence.

Smith Rowe, at 23, will only become better with each season, making him a strong option for the Villans to consider this January. He is already familiar with the Premier League and is well-equipped to make the transition to life at Villa Park as long as Emery is willing to play him frequently in the future.
