Ben White has signed a long-term contract extension at Arsenal.

Ben White has agreed to a new long-term deal with Arsenal that, according to reports, would run through June 2028 with a one-year option. The England defender, who began his career as a center-half in the Premier League, joined the team in the summer of 2021 after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion. Since then, he has established himself as Mikel Arteta’s first choice right-back.

Ben White has signed a new “long-term contract” with Arsenal that is expected to keep him there through the summer of 2028, with an additional year’s option.
The England defender made a name for himself as Mikel Arteta’s first choice right-back after making an impact in a back three for Brighton & Hove Albion before to his £50 million transfer in June 2021.
Since then, White has made 122 appearances for Arsenal, and he contributed both assists in the team’s late 2-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday. As a result, Arsenal leads the Premier League heading into the international break.

Additionally, he has been a major factor in the team’s remarkable run through to the Champions League quarterfinals.
Arteta stated on the team’s website, “Ben is an important player for us, a top professional with a winning mentality, and one of the guys who leads by example every day.”
Ben is a wonderful human being and person, but his aptitude, tenacity, and upbeat outlook are even more significant. We’re all excited to keep collaborating with Ben in the upcoming years.”

White was released by Southampton when he was a young player. He subsequently joined Brighton and went on loan to Newport County, Leeds United, and Peterborough United before becoming a regular under then-Albion manager Graham Potter in the 2020–21 campaign.
For reasons that neither manager Gareth Southgate nor White have disclosed, he has been chosen for England squads but has not been selected since returning from the World Cup in Qatar.
