Timo Werner, a forward from Germany, will spend the entire upcoming season on loan at Tottenham from Leipzig.
The agreement was revealed by Spurs on Tuesday, and they mentioned that Werner’s permanent signing is an option.
The 28-year-old Werner was a regular starter and scored two goals in 13 Premier League games while on loan at Tottenham for the second half of the just ended season.
He was forced to miss Tottenham’s final few games due to a hamstring injury, and the squad finished in fifth place and qualified for the Europa League.
Werner, a 2020–22 Chelsea player, was left out of Germany’s European Championship roster.
